Would like to rent long enough to look around area before committing to buying another house after selling our house here. Just the two of us and two large friendly dogs, Alaskan Malamute (97 pounds) and Norwegian Elkhound (55 pounds)If this is not possible then need better more detailed information on different areas of the city. Good for resale? Gangs? Rundown areas? We have already looked up the crime statistics. Would like at least 1000 sq ft with garage and need a decent backyard. Did not leave phone number because we work different shifts and you will only get our answering machine.

Lived in Colorado Springs many years ago. Never quit missing the town. Something special about the place, with Pikes Peak looming over the city in all it's beauty! Always hoped to get back. Getting too old now, just about given up. When I lived there they were talking about building the Air Force Academy which eventually did take place. Was a small Colorado tower just starting to take off in growth. Lot's of nice people and small business. Remember when the built the first McDonalds over near Skyway, on South 8th Street. Remember old friends, like Jim Russell of KKTV in Colorado Springs. He is gone now, but his memory will be in Colorado Springs forever. He really loved the town, and did his best to help it grow and prosper. He was one of the original owners of the TV station. Better quit. Take care of my mountains, till I get back again.
