Ellicott School District 22 will provide
positive educational opportunities for all
community members in a safe, respectful
environment. Furthermore, Ellicott students
will acquire the knowledge, skills, and
confidence to succeed in an ever-changing
world.
Goals:
- to improve student literacy in reading,
writing and math to maintain a safe, respectful,
and productive learning environment
- to recruit and maintain quality teachers
for every classroom
- to increase student achievement by adapting
instruction
- to meet the needs of individual students
- to maintain consistent and effective communication
between the school district and parents/guardians
and between school district and the Ellicott
community
- to utilize school counselors in providing
comprehensive and direct services to students
and families
- to assist secondary students in making
informed decisions about post high school
plans
- to utilized technology to assist in improving
student achievement
- to adopt a school calendar and school
schedule which will assist in raising student
achievement
- to increase student participation in extracurricular
activities to provide the quality and quantity
of health services necessary
- to meet the needs of both students and
families
- to plan and provide adequate land, facilities,
and infrastructure
- to support district programming
- to assist the Ellicott School District
in Moving Forward
